The Scientific Committee of the The 16th Balkan Venous Forum Congress and 19th Romanian Congress of Phlebology, invites authors to submit papers (Oral Presentations or E-posters) for review and potential inclusion in the official program.

Notification of acceptance: by July 10, 2026
Abstract format (writing requirements):
Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, single-spaced, no space between paragraphs
Title: Capital letters
Authors: Names only (no academic titles)
Affiliation: Institution, City, Country
Abstract must include:
Purpose of the paper
Materials and Methods
Results
Conclusions
Max. 5 keywords
Restrictions: No tables or graphs
Important details:
Authors of accepted presentations are required to register for the event and pay the participation fee. Please complete the registration form, and in the comments section, indicate that you are the author of the paper, along with the title of your submission.

Submissions only via electronic form (one form per abstract)
A maximum of 2 papers are accepted as first author;
All abstracts received will be evaluated by the congress’s scientific committee;
You will be notified in advance about the acceptance/rejection of the abstract, the form of presentation (oral/poster) and the positioning within the scientific program (remember – the scientific committee may recommend changing the form of presentation chosen by you);
The maximum duration of the presentation of oral papers is 10 minutes (8 min presentation/2 min discussion);
The posters will be presented in electronic format. A poster template and guidelines for preparation will be sent to all authors whose abstracts have been accepted.
The correctness of the correspondence data is important: phone, e-mail;
Language: the official Congress languages will be Romanian and English
